The Medical Center Foundation cultivates relationships to build a healthier northeast Georgia by encouraging health-based philanthropy. The Foundation helps make our community a better place to live. The Foundation works to ensure that the region has the services and amenities that make a "good hospital a great hospital."

Healthy Journey is a series of capital campaigns conducted by the Foundation to raise needed resources for hospital and community-based projects. Healthy Journey has raised over $29 million which has enhanced services and improved the care available to residents of our community. >>>

Philip and Mary Hart Wilheit have made a $700,000 lead signature gift to The Medical Center Foundation’s third phase of the Healthy Journey campaign to name the North Patient Tower (NPT) Entrance Garden at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) in memory of their parents Tom and Jane Eve Wilheit and Jack and Mildred Keys. >>>
