POSITION AVAILABLE: Foundation Coordinator, Corporate Gifts -
Part-time (24 hours per week, flexible schedule)
The Foundation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the
daily activities of the Corporate Giving Club and the continued development and
oversight of the grant program. Responsibilities include:

Coordinating and overseeing the daily activities and
special programs of the Arbor Circle Corporate Giving Club, including
creating and maintaining annual budget, prospect tracking, managing
prospects calls, compiling and maintaining prospect data and correspondence
to ensure success of the volunteer committee. Works closely with Arbor
Circle chair and volunteer committee, developing committee agendas,
distributing minutes, providing members with needed materials and
maintaining Arbor Circle notebook.

Oversight of ongoing development of the Grant Program,
including grant prospect research, writing and tracking, as well as working
with outside grant writers.

Coordinating and working on special projects in support of
other giving clubs, including but not limited to, assistance with the annual
Medical Center Open Golf Tournament, Trellis Society appeal, Healthy Journey
educational luncheons, Board of Trustees meetings, donor recognition
programs, and other friend and fundraising events and projects.
Relationship development within business and corporate community.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or other
related field and minimum of 3 years experience in related field required.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous accounting, computer and secretarial work experience or college
internship in related area desirable. Previous fundraising or related experience
desirable.
SKILLS:
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal
communication skills. High level of proficiency in computer skills including
Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Access desirable.

Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate,
prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
-
Ability and desire to work and support a professional team
atmosphere.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, goal
oriented environment.

Project management experience desirable
-
Must have the capacity to work sympathetically with
individuals possessing many different points of view; excellent listening
skills required.

Ability to deal effectively with donors, volunteers and
general public in a professional and courteous manner.
Relationship development is a key component of this position.
