The Laurel Society of The Medical Center Foundation was created to encourage and give special recognition to committed supporters who invest in healthcare excellence.

Invitations to join the Laurel Society are extended to philanthropists who accept the challenge to become partners in the continued provision of high quality healthcare services at Northeast Georgia Health System through a gift of $10,000 or more over a three-year period.

Those who join the Laurel Society have a unique opportunity to help the hospital reach out and improve the health of the community and fulfill essential capital needs for critical medical services.

Membership recognition

Membership in the Laurel Society is recognized in the following ways:

• public recognition through The Medical Center Foundation's Hall of Honor located in the hospital's north patient tower,
• recognition in Communicare, Northeast Georgia Health System's health education magazine,
• a uniquely designed gift commemorating your membership,
• invitation to a special recognition party, and
• invitation to other hospital programs and events.
